Spring- and Pocketspring Mattresses

Spring- and pocketspring mattresses require a hot melt adhesive that is characterised by high flexibility and excellent adhesion. ALFAMELT® and ALFANTRA® adhesives easily meet these requirements.

Compared to conventional products, the adhesives convince with a significantly faster setting, which means that the mattresses can be roll-packed immediately after bonding. The adhesives do not cause any smacking noises.

Pocket springs

Pocket springs are processed into pocket spring cores using ALFAMELT® and ALFANTRA® hot melt adhesives. These are used as inserts of pocket spring mattresses.

Bonded pocket spring cores must be able to withstand large temperature fluctuations and mechanical loads and are characterised by high immediate adhesion and a short open time.
